In this day and age just about every business and even individual pretty much got to have a website.  Without it people would not know that you exist.  It goes without saying when a person is looking for something, he/she is sure to do a search on his phone or computer about your product or service to find your website and your app.

Just like developing an App, website also has to follow similar steps.  The purpose of the website is to bring customers to your store via website and provide them with information about your product and services.  This is the doorway to bring the customers into your (online) store and get him involved and immerse him with your product and service features and benefits.

The process of designing and developing a website is very similar to the App.  That is because both represent your store for products and services.  The difference is that software and technology used would be different based on simplicity or complexity and size of your business.

1. We hold an introductory meeting with you and your staff to find out the core products and services you are providing. Based on that we can sketch up a design and a draft of the design and content of your business.
2. Bring the sketches and prototype of the design, layout and rough content and discuss with your and your staff. This process would narrow down the scope and finalize the design.
3. Now is the time to come up with the color theme, type of buttons, variety of icons, table types, layout of contents, location of videos, display of images, connecting pages and linking with other sites where necessary.
4. Incorporate several features such as security, auto update, backup, image player, set up admins, user login, log out, forgot password and other features as necessary depending on the needs.
5. Basic functions: Email, texting, maps, directions, contact forms, search function, add, delete, save, retrieve, history, search and list of products and services, feedback, review links etc.
6. Terms of use, Privacy Policy, Account delete process, FAQs, etc.
7. Ownership: You need to own the domain which will represent your business.  We can assist you in getting it.  Then we need to host it at a hosting service provider making sure that the host can provide the speed, up-time, backup, SSL, good cPanel, etc.
8. Front-end and Back-end: The website has two sides.  Front-end is what people see and how people will use it.  But all that is happening from the back-end which is where the use of the proper technology and designing is done.
9. Maintenance: A website needs regular updating and maintenance due to changes and updates happening in the technology and your products and services, which need to be reflected and modified from the back-end and reflected in the front-end.
10. Is that all? Not really!  All features mentioned above would need some tweaking as and when things change, so it is a continuous process to keep an eye on the content, layout, features etc. and get feedback from staff and customers.
