Managing and Maintaining a Website is just about 24/7 job.  For any business, their products and services generally change often.  And they need to be reflected on the website with appropriate changes in description, images, videos, prices, timing, marketing strategies and more…

  1. Check on hosting plan: Hosting features, Customer Service by phone or only text (we don’t prefer text-chatting) feature because it takes a lot of time trying to explain the issue and getting it resolved.
  2. Check on backup frequency and location:  The host should be backing up (as part of the hosting plan-may have to pay extra for this feature) on daily basis and available for us to obtain, download and restore if there are issues with the hosting and keeping the website live.
  3. Ensure that besides the host doing daily backup, we should also have regular back up like at least on a weekly basis.
  4. Maintain data and software storage facilities in more than one place.  We recommend having an off-site facility to hold these storage medias.  Cloud storage is good too.
  5. If Cloud storage is use, we need to ensure that only upper management have access and must have 2-Step Verification process.
  6. There should be proper communication between your office personnel and our staff to ensure that any products and services change are brought to our attention as soon as changes are made. Or even BEFORE the changes are made so proper updates are reflected immediately on the website.
  7. Assuming that the product and service changes are better and upgraded which need to be marketed to bring customers to the website and should also be reflected in the App.
  8. One of the most important section is “Customer Reviews”.  There should be regular updates to our website to reflect all reviews from say: Google, Facebook etc.
  9. All Social Media Links are updated and maintained to ensure that all data are current and are live.
  10. Any Customer Service = Or Contact Us links are properly working and that the company staff are responding to them.  Any serious issues should be brought to our attention to fix them as soon as possible.
